The Alabama Motorcoach Association joined forces with SCMA and BISC for the 2026 Regional Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, August 30 to September 1, 2026. The partnership brought together motorcoach operators, suppliers and industry leaders from across the region for education, networking and collaboration.
United Motorcoach Association advised operators to review emergency exit procedures to avoid out-of-service orders. Make sure each exit is properly marked, add exits to the pre-trip inspection, train drivers to open and inspect every exit type (especially roof hatches), and keep spare markings on board.
There has never been a charge to update your MCS-150. If the second-to-last digit of your USDOT number is odd, update in odd years; if even, in even years. The last digit sets the month. Skipping the update can deactivate your USDOT number and bring civil penalties.
