About the Association

Promoting and improving the motorcoach industry of Alabama through the collective efforts of its members, and enhancing the safety and image of motorcoach travel in our state.

Why AMA exists

The tour and charter motorcoach business is a major part of Alabama's hospitality economy.

Members benefit from the lobbying and research the Association does on behalf of the industry, from legislation the Board promotes in Montgomery, and from a professional association management team with over fifty years of combined motorcoach experience.

AMA also keeps close relationships with other state motorcoach associations and tourism partners, and is part of the Southeastern Regional Motorcoach Operators Coalition, which brings operators from thirteen states together each year to tackle shared industry issues.
